As part of the Pro Series from Chord Electronics, the Alto headphone amplifier was previously exclusively available to audio professionals and recording studios. And for good reason: the ULTIMA technology packed into the Alto is specifically designed for recording and mastery tools, made portable for switching between studios and editing bays, and features four separate headphones jacks, all of which may not be of interest to the casual listener. However, since the Alto's launch in early 2024, Chord Electronics has heard overwhelming interested in the headphone pre-amp from non-professionals. Thus, we're happy to announce that the Alto is now available to the general public!
