High-End Audio, Downsized: Suzi Takes the Spotlight
Posted by The Sound Organisation on Jan 9th 2026
Chord Electronics’ new Suzi system brings high-end performance to compact spaces through a smart, modular design. Built around the Suzi Amp and its ULTIMA amplification technology, the system delivers fast, dynamic, and highly detailed sound from a remarkably small footprint—ideal for desktops, smaller listening rooms, or high-efficiency loudspeakers.

The Suzi platform’s real strength is its flexibility. By removing the top cover of the Suzi Amp, users can dock different components directly onto the amplifier. Pairing it with the Hugo 2 and 2go creates a full streaming setup powered by Chord’s highly regarded FPGA DAC architecture, offering Roon Ready, AirPlay, UPnP, Bluetooth, and local microSD playback in a compact and elegant package.
For vinyl and analog listeners, the Suzi Pre transforms the system into a complete integrated amplifier with two analog inputs, dual headphone outputs, and an adjustable MM/MC phono stage. It’s a clean, space-efficient solution that maintains Chord’s signature clarity and musicality.

With optional accessories like the Multiplexer for expanded USB connectivity and a charging bridge for seamless Hugo 2 power management, Suzi offers a refined, modern approach to high-end audio. Available in black or silver and built in the UK, it proves that small systems can deliver truly premium sound without compromise.
