25 years after the first Rega Brio integrated amplifier hit the market, this baby barnstormer has quietly become one of Rega's best selling products. With a series of new Planar turntables completed last year, Rega has decided to cast their eyes on its hotest companion product.
Significant updates to power supplies, now independent for high and low-level signals, drops noise and improves detail. A new PCB design derives maximum impact from the new power supplies, with a focus on higher quality parts throughout. It's very high quality phono input has been updated for better performance, perfect for a new Planar series turntable. A headphone socket has been added for "can lovers", a first for Rega amplifiers. To ensure maximum sound quality, Rega has figured out how to quietly disengage the headphone amp when not in use, as to not disturb the performance of the main amplifier circuit. A new case wraps the internals in new stylish new duds, while also improving heat dissipation for greater reliability.
Without a doubt, this is the best Brio EVER!
