The Sound Organisation at AXPONA 2022

Posted by The Sound Organisation on Apr 22nd 2022

Wow, it seems like ages since we've had the chance to show off our hi-fi equipment at a trade show. It has been since 2019 that we last set-up a listening room, so needless to say we're all very excited to share what the best brands in audio have to offer this year! We will be having two separate listening rooms at AXPONA this year: Rooms 662 and 666 (we promise the later isn't cursed!). Each of these rooms will feature multiple components from across all our brands, so we encourage you to stick around and check both rooms to get the full experience!

Room 666

Rega's System One ($2195 MSRP)

Our first system is the appropriately named Rega System One. Rega released this all-in-one, out-of-the-box system earlier this year. Composed of a Rega Planar 1, Kyte Speakers, and the io integrated amplifier, this system retails for $2195 and represents one of the best values available for entry-level listeners.

Other System Components

Also in this room, we'll feature some other amazing components for you to compare and contrast against the Rega System One. We've selected some comparable pieces that we think you'll particularly enjoy!

Room 662

Chord Electronics Qutest System

This system is based around the amazing Chord Electronics Qutest System, starring the namesake Qutest DAC, Huei Phono Stage, brand new Anni Integrated Amplifier and the Quetest System Stand. We pair this core with some stellar speakers from Fyne Audio and other comparable system components.

Chord Electronics Hugo TT System System

For our final system, we wanted to go on the more attainable side rather grab the flashiest "reference-level" pieces. Instead, we focused on the mind-blowing detail offered by Chord Electronics Table Top System, encompassing the Hugo TT2, M-Scaler, and TToby amplifier. We hook up the components using The Chord Company's Epic cables, and utilize Spendor's beautiful Classic 2/3 speakers to bring the music to your ears! This is certainly one system you need to hear!
